Lakewood Legion To Host Band
LAKEWOOD - The Lakewood American Legion will feature The Collaboration, a jazz and swing band, from 7-10 p.m. Saturday. Dinner specials and snack menu will be available.
Park Commission To Meet Tuesday
RED HOUSE - M. Brad Whitcomb, regional director for the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, Allegany Region, announces that the Allegany Region Commission will meet at Allegany State Park, Administration Building (Red House area) on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
Annual Election Set For Tuesday
CHERRY CREEK - The annual election for the Cherry Creek Fire District will be from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Cherry Creek Fire Hall. One commissioner will be elected for a five-year term beginning on Jan. 1. The election is open to all eligible voters in the town of Cherry Creek.
Library Board To Meet Dec. 12

Carroll Seniors To Meet Dec. 17
FREWSBURG - The Carroll Senior Citizens of Frewsburg, will meet at the Frewsburg American Legion on Monday, Dec. 17 for their annual ham Christmas dinner and celebration. Reservations are required and must be made by Dec. 12 by calling Mary Himes at 569-6110. The cost to members is $5.
Ripley Board To Meet Dec. 13
RIPLEY - The Ripley Central School Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, in the school cafeteria. The public is welcome to attend.
Donations Now Being Accepted
The Community Outreach Center located at First Lutheran Church, corner of Chandler and Center streets, is accepting donations of small household items and clothing, in good condition. Items may be dropped off during regular center hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
2013 Calendars Now On Sale
SINCLAIRVILLE - Sinclairville Free Library is selling calendars for 2013. The calendars are filled with photos from the Sinclairville and Gerry areas, then and now. Historic photos have been paired with photos of the same area as they appear now. If interested please contact a board member, buy one at the Sinclairville Superette, Gay-Mark Tire & Wheel, Julie's Style Station in Gerry and the Gerry Town Hall, or the Sinclairville Free Library. Each calendar is $10. Calendars may be reserved by calling the library at 962-5885. The profit from the sale of the calendars goes directly to support the operating costs of the library.
