North Harmony Seniors will travel to the Cleveland Garfield House on Tuesday and will leave the club at 11 a.m. Meals are not provided.
Sixty-one members met for a pork loin dinner recently. Mac and Elle McNeill, Rita Lescynski, Ronda Hatfield, and Bonnie Johnson were the committee. Gordy Saulsgiver gave the blessing and Steve Saulsgiver, the flag salute. Pat Baker gave the secretary's report. John Smith made a motion to accept the minutes, seconded by Paul Holthouse, who stated that crafters are currently making lap robes and wheelchair pockets. Izetta Ayling, membership chairwoman, spoke on membership. Other reports were by Earl Ferry, grounds chairman; Ellen Coffaro, the Senior Council dinner dance, a tour of the Jackson Center, Jamestown on Dec. 13, and the January council meeting in Frewsburg.
Correspondence was received from Sally Carlson, thanking all those who helped with the election night dinner and also Terry Kindberg, of the BOCES Safety Village.
Dorothy Krause, Barb Johnson and Elle M. McNeill are the nominating committee. New officers are Earl Ferry, president; Sally Carlson, first vice president; Steve Saulsgiver, second vice president; Norm Czubaj, secretary; Pat Baker, assistant secretary; Nete Ferry, treasurer; and Mac McNeill, assistant treasurer.
The Cleveland Garfield House trip was discussed. The cost is $38, without meals.
Marti LaFreda provided the birthday cake for Audrey Derby and Kathy Silzle. Celebrating anniversaries were Norm and Paula Czubaj, Ron and Carol Smith, Glen and Mary Pratt. Gordy Saulsgiver closed the meeting with benediction.
