Wanted City Burglar Caught, Held On $25,000 Bail

A Jamestown man has been taken to the Chautauqua County Jail on $25,000 bail after being charged with burglary.

Brandon J. Clifton, 26, of 102 McKinley Ave., Jamestown was charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree grand larceny and third-degree criminal mischief Sunday. A warrant had been issued following an investigation into an Oct. 24, 2012, burglary in Busti. Another man, Wayne Wright III, also of McKinley Avenue, has already been charged in connection with several burglaries.

Clifton was arraigned in Busti Town Court on Sunday and taken to the county jail. He will be in court later.
