Michael Peppy won the Boys Advanced Self Defense title for ages 13-17 at the 40th annual Pennsylvania Karate Championship Tournament at New Kensington, Pa. Peppy also won the state championship award for Boys Advanced Self Defense for 2011-2012. Instructor Anthony Hubbard captured the state championship for Men's Black Belt Kata. He was also recognized for being active in Martial Arts for more than 40 years.
