William A. “Bill” Keith

William A. "Bill" Keith, 58, of Clymer, N.Y., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, doing what he loved.

He was born April 12, 1954, in Westfield, N.Y., the son of the late Arthur R. & Maxine Burgess Keith.

Bill was a self-employed logger most of his life, and worked over the years for several logging firms in the area. He was currently employed by Mick Brothers Sawmill, in Elgin, Pa. In his earlier years he worked for Legters Brothers, in Clymer. Bill loved bowling, his 25 acres, and his dogs, and he was always there to lend a helping hand to any-one who needed it.

Bill is survived by, his children, William A. Barton, and Billie Jo (Matthew) Davis, both of Clymer, N.Y.; Mariah (Christopher) Fitzgerald, Jamestown, N.Y.; two sis-ters, Dorothy M. Swan, and Patricia Washburn, both of Ripley, N.Y.; and one brother, Ray (Mary Lou) Keith, Clymer, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews; and by his best friend, "Bug."

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his companion, Polly Fitzgerald, Oct. 4, 2012.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday Dec. 3, 2012 at the Spitzer Funeral Home, Clymer, N.Y., with the Rev. John Rough officiating. Burial will be in Quincy Cemetery, Ripley, N.Y.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sun-day, Dec. 2, 2012 at the funeral home.
