SALAMANCA - The hosts made easy work of their first-round opponent in the Salamanca Tip-off Tournament on Thursday night.
Keely Watt poured in 20 points and made eight steals, Shae Smith and Alyssa Stahlman hauled in seven rebounds apiece and the Salamanca Lady Warriors held the visiting Buffalo Academy of Science Lady Wolverines to a combined four points in the second and third quarters on the way to a 55-15 victory.
Salamanca, which scored 29 points in the first half to the Lady Wolverines' eight, will now meet the Gowanda-Pine Valley winner in the championship game.
Nyree Brown led BAS with seven points.
