The combined Westfield-Ripley-Chautauqua Lake wrestling team made a successful debut by defeating Southwestern, 48-26, in a Division 1 match on Thursday night.
Dominque Rammelt of WRCL got the fastest pin at 152 pounds by pinning Nick Mest in 50 seconds.
Another fall for WRCL was by Roger Williams in 1:35 over 120-pound opponent Mitchell Johnson.

A third fall registered by WRCL was at 182 where Tyler Furlow flattened Ben Swanson in 2:08.
WRCL received four forfeit victories at 160 for James Heflin, at 220 for Trevor Enterline, at 285 for D. J. Hamrick and at 113 for Nick Hudson.
Southwestern won the first two bouts to get off to a great start as Brian Westerdahl had a 17-6 win over Nolan Hunt at 138 pounds and Joey Lindberg pinned Jeremy Gilbert in 5:02 at 145.
Howie Boutelle of Southwestern blanked Justin Gross, 7-0, at 195 pounds and another shutout was achieved by the Trojans' Ryan Hetrick by a 16-0 count over Bryce Rowe at 99 pounds.
