Brice G. McClellan

Brice G. McClellan, 69, of 5525 Wells Bay Road, Stow, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, in Cleveland Clinic.

She was born Feb. 20, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Edgar and Mae Fusco Cumiskey.

She graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in speech therapy and later earned a master's degree in education from St. Joseph's University, Cincinnati, Ohio.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Geneva Area City Schools, Geneva, Ohio, for more than 30 years as a speech therapist. Following retirement, she worked as a speech therapist for several nursing homes and was currently working at Broadfield Manor, Madison, Ohio.

A very social person, Brice was a member of Lakewood Rod and Gun Auxiliary, Celoron Moose, War Vets Recreation and AMVETS.

She was a very giving person, who lived life to the fullest. She always had an open heart and open home to all.

Surviving are her husband, John "Jack" McClellan, whom she married Aug. 5, 1967; three children: Coleen (Doug Setler) Moskowitz of Madison, Ohio; and twin sons: Brian McClellan of Stow, N.Y., and Kevin (Marianne) McClellan of Jamestown; two grandchildren: Hannah and Haley Moskowitz, both of Madison, Ohio; two step grandsons: Louis and Anthony Landy, both of Jamestown; and a sister, Carole Ann (Hugh) Angle of Pinehurst, N.C.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael L. McClellan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Sacred heart Catholic Church. Msgr. Joseph M. Dowdell will be celebrant.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home, where a Christian Wake Service will be led at 1:45 p.m. Sunday.
