William A. “Bill” Keith

William A. "Bill" Keith, 58, of Clymer, N.Y., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, doing what he loved.

He was born April 12, 1954, in Westfield, N.Y., the son of the late Arthur R. and Maxine Burgess Keith.

Bill was a self-employed logger, most of his life, and worked over the years for several logging firms in the area. He was currently employed by Mick Brothers Sawmill, in Elgin, Pa. In his earlier years, he worked for Legters Brothers in Clymer.

Bill loved bowling, his 25 acres, his dogs, and he was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

Bill is survived by, his children: William A. Barton and Billie Jo (Matthew) Davis, both of Clymer, N.Y., Mariah (Christopher) Fitzgerald, Jamestown, N.Y., Dorothy M. Swan, and Patricia Washburn, both of Ripley, N.Y., and Ray (Mary Lou) Keith, Clymer, N.Y.; by several nieces and nephews; and by his best friend, "Bug,"

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion, Polly Fitzgerald, Oct. 4, 2012.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at the Spitzer Funeral Home, Clymer, N.Y., with the Rev. John Rough officiating. Burial will be in Quincy Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at the funeral home.
