JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Erik L. Gullett of Jamestown was charged at 5:47 p.m. on Wednesday with second-degree menacing. Officers responded to 20 Bush St. for a person with a weapon in front of the house. They determined that the subjects involved were arguing over a parking spot and the situation escalated. Upon further investigation, officers arrested Erik L. Gullett for displaying a weapon during the altercation. He was placed into custody and transported to city jail, pending arraignment.

A 17-year old male was charged at 3:15 p.m. on Monday with second-degree assault and second-degree menacing. The Jamestown Police Department was investigating an assault incident which occurred earlier in November. During the investigation, the JPD Detective Bureau was advised of a separate but related menacing incident that occurred earlier this week. The same 17-year old male was additionally charged with second-degree assault based on the original investigation conducted.
