SALAMANCA - The Salamanca Area Kiwanis Club donated $100 for Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief.
The members of the Salamanca Area Kiwanis Club voted to dedicate a portion of their annual fundraising effort to help the families and children affected by the recent disaster caused by Hurricane Sandy.
The American public and organizations have been very supportive of the Red Cross relief response to Superstorm Sandy.
Ned Fenton, Salamanca Area Kiwanis Club president, presented a $100 donation for Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief to Bill Tucker, executive director of the American Red Cross of Southwestern New York.
Their donations allow the Red Cross to spend tens of millions of donated dollars providing food, shelter, relief supplies and comfort to people affected by Sandy.
