Carl Carey and Dick Franzen were the lone three-game winners in the Chautauqua Lake Senior Handicap Horseshoe League recently.
Carey delivered games of 78 points and nine ringers, 79 and 11 ringers and 80 points and 10 ringers.
Franzen had games of 86 and 80 points with a total of four ringers.
Ken Hopkins won 2 games with 97 points and 15 ringers and 82 points and 10 ringers.
Ralph Whitney also captured 2 games with 89 points and eight ringers and two games of 77 points with a total of 10 ringers.
Kurt VonKlist, Ken Aldrich, Jim Johnston and Art Mitchell were two-game winners.
VonKlist pitched 79 ringers out of 120 for a percentage of 65 percent. He had games of 95 and 29 ringers and 90 points and 25 ringers.
Aldrich had 93 points and 13 ringers and 78 points and six ringers.
Johnston, the league leader, had 92 points and seven ringers and tossing two tie games with Whitney and Tim Willett.
Larry Piazza had 86 points and 12 ringers, Barclay Potts 85 points and eight ringers, Fred Clark 83 points and seven ringers, Jerry Vargeson 82 points and five ringers, Bob Ortendahl 82 points and five ringers and Don McCray 81 points and eight ringers.
