Observant neighbors were able to alert police to a burglary in progress Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., Jamestown Police received a call reporting a possible burglary in progress. The caller informed police that two subjects were seen entering a home on 11th Street and that the homeowner was not home at the time of the incident.
The Jamestown Police Department, with assistance from the New York State Police, set up a perimeter to block off the street.

A short time later, both suspects were located in the house and taken into custody. More details will follow.
