CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
HANOVER - Sterling S. Doctor, 22, of Seneca Road, Lawtons, N.Y. was charged at 9:30 p.m. Sunday with disorderly conduct and trespassing. Chautauqua County Sheriff's Deputies and Silver Creek Police responded to Lakeshore Hospital, 845 Route 5 and 20, Hanover, for a report of a male in the emergency room waiting room who was being disorderly with hospital staff. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with hospital staff who stated Doctor was in the waiting room swearing at staff and refusing to leave. Deputies spoke with Doctor and advised him to leave. Doctor refused and continued to yell obscenities at deputies and hospital staff. He was taken into custody without incident, arraigned in the town of Hanover Court and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail on $500/$1,000. He will appear in court at a later date and time.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Lisa L. Jimerson, 46, of Jamestown was charged at 11:44 p.m. on Sunday with fourth-degree criminal mischief and Darryl E. Thompson, 47, also of Jamestown was charged with second-degree criminal contempt for violating an order of protection and an outstanding arrest warrant issued through the Jamestown Police Department. Jamestown Police Department officers responded to a Foote Avenue address for a report of a disorderly female, later identified as Lisa Jimerson. Upon arrival, officers learned that Jimerson had become disorderly during a domestic dispute and began throwing several items while inside, causing damage to property inside of the residence. While at the scene, officers learned that Jimerson had a stay away order of protection against of Thompson. Jimerson was also arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant issued through the Jamestown Police Department. They are both currently being held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
ELLICOTTVILLE - Lance Weinert, 23, of Jamestown was charged on Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Police pulled over a vehicle on Route 394, Ellicottville, and while speaking to Weinert, the trooper observed loose marijuana in the interior of the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle, more loose marijuana was revealed and Weinert was placed under arrest. He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer the charge.
Claudia Anderson, 20, and Emily Drew, 20, both of Jamestown were charged on Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana on Saturday. Police pulled over a vehicle on Route 60, Jamestown, for several traffic violations. While speaking to the occupants, the troopers observed loose marijuana in the backseat of the vehicle. When the occupants were searched, Anderson was found to be in possession of a bag containing two grams of marijuana and Drew, possession of a bag containing five grams of marijuana and a pipe containing burnt marijuana. They were issued appearance tickets and are schedule to appear in the town of Kiantone Court at a later date.
Chester Wolfe, 30, of Jamestown was charged on Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Police pulled over a vehicle on Route 394 in Jamestown for a traffic violation. While speaking to Wolfe, the trooper smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Wolfe was found to be in possession of a marijuana cigarette and a bag containing two grams of marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the city of Jamestown Court at a later date to answer the charge.
KIANTONE - Shawn Battle, 21, of Jamestown was arraigned in the town of Charlotte Court on Saturday and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail. Police pulled over a vehicle on Route 60, Kiantone for no front license plate and after checking the license of Battle, saw there was an active warrant for him from the town of Charlotte Court. A passenger in the vehicle, William Emo, 23, of Jamestown was found to be wanted by the city of Jamestown Police Department and a second passenger, Jessika Morton, 18, of Columbus was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana after a bag containing a small amount of it was observed on the floor of the vehicle in her vicinity. She was released with an appearance ticket for the town of Kiantone Court. Emo was transported to JPD officers.
Roger Smith, 23, of Jamestown was charged on Friday with unlawful possession of marijuana. Police pulled over a vehicle on Route 60, Jamestown and while speaking to the driver, Smith, observed a bag containing two grams of marijuana on the floor of the vehicle. Smith was issued an appearance ticket for the town of Ellicott Court and released.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Thomas E. Weaver Sr., 61, of 73 Summit Ave., Jamestown was charged at 5:15 p.m. on Friday with failing to maintain lane, Leandra's Law and driving while ability impaired. Ellicott police were called to a motor vehicle accident on West Main Street. The vehicle, operated by Weaver, rear-ended a parked vehicle. Weaver and his 8-year old passenger were transported to WCA Hospital for precaution. Investigation led to Weaver being charged. Both were released from WCA with no injuries.
Scott R. Warsitz, 39, of 3668 Bard Road, Cassadaga was charged on Sunday with second-degree harassment. Warsitz struck a subject in the face with a pizza box after an altercation at 34 W. Main St., in the village of Falconer. An appearance ticket was issued for Ellicott Court at a later date.
