Martha V. Reyda Sprick-man Keppel, 85, of Findley Lake, N.Y., died at her Station Road home on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012.
She was born June 13, 1927, in Corry, Pa., a daughter of the late Anthony and Sonya Kuzmic Reyda.
Martha was raised and educated in Corry, graduating from Corry High School in 1945. Throughout her working career, she was employed at various businesses in the area, and retired from Associated Spring Barnes Group in 1992.

She had a strong and unwavering faith which carried her through the tough times. That faith gave her the insights to reach out and mentor others who simply needed another mother's advice. In her golden years, she was blessed with a loving husband with whom she shared her life. Martha enjoyed homemaking and various hobbies in-cluding reading, gardening, woodcarving, cooking, sewing and knitting. She also assisted in planning and building new homes.
In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by four sisters: Phoebe Boyd, Mary Blair, Ann Skinner and Helen Ro-bilotto; two brothers: Matthew and Joseph Rey-da; and a son-in-law, Tim Jaquith.
Martha is survived by her husband, Donald C. Keppel, whom she married May 15, 1995, in Westfield, N.Y.; two daughters: Diane K. Jaquith of Corry, Pa., and Nancy J. Dingfeld-er and her husband, Lynn, of Corry, Pa.; two step-daughters: Valerie A. Parker and her husband, John, of Erie, Pa., and Christi A. Graham and her husband, Steve, of Bishopville, Md.; and five step-sons: Jeffrey A. Keppel and his wife, Sandra, of Smethport, Pa., Donald K. Keppel and his wife, Maria, of New Braunfels, Texas, Bradley B. Keppel and his wife, Vicki, of Waxhaw, N.C., Stephen A. Keppel and his wife, Mary, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Brian B. Keppel and his compan-ion, Anne, of Clymer, N.Y. She is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
At Martha's request, there will be no calling hours. A private memorial service and burial will be held at a later date.
Family and friends are re-quested in lieu of flowers to go out to a lovely candlelight dinner and remember the good times and celebrate her life.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of the Brack-en Funeral Home, 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa.
