JAMESTOWN POLICE

Edward Melendez, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and third-degree criminal mischief at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday. According to a police report, Melendez was found in a victim's front yard, intoxicated, yelling at a victim. It was determined that he broke a large window on the front of the house. He was taken into custody and held pending arraignment.

Chady L. Chamberlain, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to keep right at 9:47 a.m. Friday. According to a police report, officers were dispatched to a hit and run accident at Newland Avenue and S. Main Street where they found a vehicle with severe front end damage. A short time later, they located the vehicle that fled the scene and Chamberlain was located at 33 Linden Ave. She was taken to the city jail without incident pending arraignment.

Jairo Roldan, of Jamestown was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, second-degree menacing, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree harassment and being a fugitive from justice at 10:56 p.m. Friday. According to a police report, after being dispatched to a report of a domestic dispute, officers learned that Roldan had a physical dispute with a female victim. Roldan allegedly punched and choked the victim during the incident, as well as restraining her while holding a box cutter to her neck to prevent her from leaving the residence. He is currently being held at the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment on the domestic incident charges and will be extradited to Florida to answer aggravated assault charges from a previous incident.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

Frank L. Zimmer, 61, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, moving from a lane unsafely and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle at 9:12 p.m. Friday. He was issued traffic tickets for the charges and is due in court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

BROCTON - Vincent Kane, 27, of Portland was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se with a BAC of .08 percent or higher and speeding at 2:27 a.m. Saturday. He is due in court at a later date to answer the charges.

SILVER CREEK - Jonathan J. Crowden, 37, of Angola was charged with third-degree criminal trespassing at 10 a.m. Saturday. He was arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail to appear in court at a later date.

CHERRY CREEK - Michael D. Lavoy, 52, of Cherry Creek was charged with failure to keep right and speeding at 2 p.m. Thursday following a personal injury accident in Cherry Creek. He is due in court at a later date to answer the charges.

MAYVILLE - Norman I. Geddis, 43, was charged with first-degree promotion of prison contraband at 3:20 p.m. Saturday. According to a police report, it was allegedly discovered that Geddis was in possession of a jail shank. He is due to be in court at a later date.

RIPLEY - Casey A. Swabik, 33, of Northeast, Pa. was charged with failure to keep right, having an open container of alcohol, driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated at 8:53 p.m. Saturday. He was taken into custody and later released with appearance tickets for the charges.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

KIANTONE - Emily A. Drew, 20, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:15 a.m. Saturday. She was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.

COLLINS - Robert W. Odell, 27, of Eden was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment at 2:13 p.m. Friday. He was held pending further action.

KIANTONE - Claudia J. Anderson, 20, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:15 a.m. Saturday. She was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.

Chester L. Wolff, 30, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 11:45 p.m. Friday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.

ELLICOTT - Roger K. Smith, 23, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 9 p.m. Friday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.

KIANTONE - Jessika L. Morton, 18, of Columbus, Pa. was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 10:20 p.m. Saturday. She was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.

ELLICOTT - Lance E. Weinert, 23, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 6:29 a.m. Sunday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.

STOCKTON Joseph B. Keyser, 43, of Cassadaga was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment at 5:15 a.m. Sunday.
