For the past 28 years St. Susan Center has been "in the business" of serving meals to the poor.

"The need continues to grow, but thanks to a community of people who care, we are making a difference," said Sue Colwell, executive director.

One such business making a difference is ACME The Appliance Store, 1286 E. Second St., Jamestown. Owner Beth Hocking donated a 50-inch flat screen TV which will be given away in a drawing on Christmas Eve. Tickets are $1 each. In addition, ACME will also donate $5 to St. Susan Center for every range sold from now until Dec. 24.

"We are pleased to do our part to support St. Susan Center and their efforts of fighting hunger within our community," said Hocking.
