Helen Beckerink 93, of Clymer, N.Y., went to be with her Lord and Savior, Nov. 23, 2012 at Golden Living Kinzua, in Warren, Pa. She was born July 18, 1919 in French Creek Township, N.Y. the daughter of the late George W. and Anna Bakerink Croscutt.
She was an active member of Clymer Hill Re-formed Church and attended Bayshore Reformed Church in Bradenton. She enjoyed sewing, playing piano and organ. She be-came a licensed beautician while spending winters in Florida. In 1965 she com-pleted five years of memorizing Bible verses. She was known at Golden Living as the lady that smiled all the time. She is survived by two daughters: Sharon (Bernard) tenPas of Kennedy, N.Y. and Johann Munger of Sherman, N.Y.; two sons, Howard Jr. (Pau-lette) Beckerink of Muleshoe, TX and N.C. and John Beckerink of Sherman, N.Y. and Bradenton, Fl.; grandchildren, Eugene tenPas, of Kennedy, N.Y., Martin tenPas of Goole, Va., Shelley tenPas Ayers of Wake Forest, N.C., Kris-tine Munger Hamilton of Rincon, Ga., Kimberly (Todd) Cole of Sherman, N.Y., Matthew (Nancy) Beckerink of Muleshoe, TX, Pastor Michael (Erin) Beckerink, Clymer, N.Y., Bethany Richardson of Fu-quay Varina, N.C. and Annissa Edwards of N.C. Helen had 24 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Beckerink in 1985; her second husband, Richard Crosscut in 1996; grand-son, Derrik J. tenPas in 1994; and a great grandson, Jeffrey Beckerink. Sisters, Merriam Einink, Wilma Beckerink, Irma Colligan, Elinor Dolan; and a brother Donald Croscutt. Helen's funeral will be held Dec. 1 2012 at the Spitzer Funeral Home, Sherman, N.Y. Visitation hours will be from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. with the funeral service to follow. Rev. Michael Beckerink and John Beckerink will of-ficiate.
