ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
FALCONER - Dustin J. Purdy, 24, of 3044 Bowen Road, Randolph, was charged with driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more, insufficient tail lamps, no insurance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation Thursday. Officers observed a vehicle driven by Purdy traveling on East Main Street without tail lamps activated. During a traffic stop, Purdy was found to be intoxicated with suspended driving privileges as well as no insurance on his vehicle. He was released with appearance tickets for Ellicott Town Court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
BUSTI - Matthew S. Minekime of Falconer was charged with disorderly conduct Thursday at 10:15 p.m. Police heard Minekime using profanities for no legitimate reason while Black Friday shopping at Wal-Mart. His swearing was loud and he was making a scene in Wal-Mart so police asked him to refrain from swearing. When police walked away, he once again began to yell profanities. Minekime was taken into custody and issued an appearance ticket for Town of Busti Court at a later date.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
HANOVER - Donna Ostrye, 42, of Beebe Road, Irving, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration at 7:54 p.m. Tuesday. County Sheriff's deputies and Silver Creek Police officers were attempting to serve a warrant at her address when Ostrye allegedly obstructed officers and attempted to prevent the wanted subject from being taken into custody. Ostrye was issued an appearance ticket for Hanover Town Court at a later date.
FORESTVILLE - Cindysue Hale, 45, of Forestville was charged with second-degree harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree unlawful imprisonment at 5 a.m. Thursday. Deputies responded to an address in Forestville for a call of an alleged altercation. Upon investigation, Hale was alleged to have harassed and choked another individual while preventing the individual from leaving the residence. She was arraigned in Town of Hanover Court and sent to Chautauqua County Jail.
