Katherine M. Zuger and Jonathan S. Ladd exchanged wedding vows on June 2, 2012, at the beach home of the bride's family on Figure Eight Island, Wilmington, N.C.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. James and Kathy Zuger of Charlotte, N.C. Her husband is the son of Kent and Lori Ladd of Gainesville, Fla.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Georgia, and teaches at the Porter Gaud School in Charleston, S.C. Her husband is a 1999 graduate of Southwestern School, received his bachelor's degree at SUNY Environmental Sciences and Forestry and his master's degree at Virginia Tech. He is a hydrosystems engineer at Black and Veatch in Charleston, S.C.
