WESTFIELD - The Octagon Gallery at Westfield's Patterson Library will exhibit "Westfield Art Teachers Past and Present" featuring the work of Alan Koch, Joseph Koshute, Edward Reed, Geri Beers, Inta Damcott and Doug Kaltenbach from Nov. 30 through Dec. 28.
The opening reception will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30.
This exhibit will share works of art by six teachers of the Westfield Academy and Central School who worked at the school from 1950 to 2012. The exhibit includes three current instructors and three past instructors.

"We are so pleased to present the exhibition of these treasured teachers who have inspired generations of artistic talent and art appreciation," said Nancy Ensign, gallery curator. "Now more than ever, it is important that we support the arts in our schools. Please come and show your support for these great instructors of our past and present youth."
The library's Octagon Gallery program is paid for in part by the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Re-grant Program administered by the Cattaraugus County Arts Council.
