The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association will meet for its annual elections at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Laona United Methodist Church, corner of Porter and Wilson roads, Laona.
Last month, Olive Becker for the nominating committee reported a slate of candidates consisting of the incumbents: Ray Bulger of Cassadaga, president; Chuck Skinner of Cassadaga, vice president; Sally Bulger of Cassadaga, secretary; and Barbara Wise of Hamlet, treasurer. Four people were nominated from the floor for the three opening trustee positions: Higley Nobles of South Dayton, Steve Millward of Sinclairville, Mark Risley of Sinclairville and Cheryl Christy of Sinclairville.
Also at the October meeting final arrangements were announced for the Dec. 1 Christmas Party at the Stockton Fire Hall. Reservations are due ASAP
The Chautauqua County Antique Equipment Association is an organization of collectors and fans of antique and obsolete machinery, engines, tractors, farm machinery and tools. One need not own equipment to join. Membership is $7 per year, $10 family. The public can see photos of last August's Antique Equipment Show at the Association website CCAEA.net.
