Antique Car Club To Meet Wednesday

The Chautauqua Lake Region Antique Automobile Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Fluvanna War Vets. Guests are welcome to attend. The club is open to anyone interested in antique and classic automobiles. For more information, call Al Oag at 483-6287.

Memorial Bow Orders Accepted

CHERRY CREEK - The Cherry Creek Community Association Inc. will sponsor its annual Christmas Memorial Tree at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at the gazebo in the Cherry Creek Memorial Park. Refreshments will follow at the Trillium Lodge Restaurant. Memorial bows may be purchased for $3 each for veterans, who will be honored with red, white and blue ribbons; general ribbons, which will be red; and $4 for those who had cancer, who will be honored with pink ribbons. Send names and money to CCCA, PO Box 213, Cherry Creek, NY 14723, by Nov. 30.

Salamanca IDA Board To Meet

SALAMANCA - The Salamanca Industrial Development Agency board of directors meeting originally scheduled for Nov. 13 has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. today in the city conference room. The public is welcome to attend.

Human Resources Group?Sets Meeting

A local human resources group is hosting Susan Post, Eastern Region director for the Society of Human Resources Management on Tuesday, Nov. 27, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. For more information and to register, call 484-0590.

Police Commission Canceled

SALAMANCA - The Salamanca Police Commission has canceled its meeting scheduled for Wednesday. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 5 p.m. in the conference room of the city municipal building.

BPU?Closed Thursday, Friday

The Jamestown Board of Public Utilities offices will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Solid Waste customers whose garbage is normally collected on Thursdays should place their trash and recyclables at the curb after 6 p.m. Thanksgiving evening for pick-up on Friday. The BPU's Customer Service office will reopen for business at 7 a.m. Monday. Customers who need to pay bills after-hours may leave checks in drop-off boxes located at the top of the BPU's "D" driveway, 92 Steele St.; outside City Hall on Tracy Plaza; inside the vestibule of the Jamestown Police Department entrance on Second Street; and outside the Town of Ellicott Building on Work Street. Payments left after-hours should only be made by check.

Carroll Clerk's Office Closed

CARROLL - The Carroll Town Clerk's Office will close at noon Wednesday and reopen for regular business hours on Monday.

Busti?Fire Auxiliary To Meet Today

BUSTI - The Busti Fire Department Auxiliary will meet on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Busti Fire Hall. Topics to be discussed are the annual town Christmas Tree lighting and the Auxiliary Christmas party. All members are asked to please attend.
