Dennis William Costlow, 61, Junction City, Kan., died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, Oklahoma City, Okla., awaiting a lung transplant.
He was born Oct. 8, 1951, in Beaverdale, Pa., to Robert and Hazel Costlow.
A veteran of the U.S. Army. He served during the Vietnam War as an engineer and mobile crane operator. He was employed by Bridges Inc. of Newton, Kan.

He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Army Engineers Association, NRA, Trout Unlimit-ed and the NWTF and the American Legion Post 45.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Costlow of Junction City; two sons: Dennis (Lori) Jr. of Spring Hill, Kan., and Michael of Junction City, Kan.; a daughter, Kelly (Jeffrey) Skelton of Omaha, Neb.; six grandchildren: Christopher, Jordan, Michael Jr, Noah, Blake and Cooper; two brothers: James Costlow of Kennedy, N.Y., and Bob (Lucy) Costlow of Houston, Texas; three sisters: Bonnie (Ed) Nelson of Ashville, N.Y., and Debbie (Joe) Guiffrida of Frews-bury, N.Y., and Sandie (Joe) Kost of Russell, Pa.; several nieces and nephews.; and his pets: Rowdy, Tuco and Little Miss Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother Richard "Dickey" Costlow.
The funeral service with full military honor were held on Nov. 19, 2012, in Manhattan, Kan.
