Santa's Bonanza

The Gerry Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will hold the 30th annual Santa's Craft Bonanza from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday in the Gerry Rodeo Grounds dining hall. Featured will be a visit from Santa and a Chinese auction. All prizes are handcrafted and will be donated by the crafters. Santa's kitchen will also be open. For more information, call 985-4257.
AARP Christmas Buffet Is Dec. 11
Jamestown AARP will have its Christmas buffet on Tuesday, Dec. 11, in the parlors of First Lutheran Church, beginning at noon. The buffet will feature Swiss steak and all the trimmings. A Christmas program will be presented by the Jamestown High School Madrigal Singers, conducted by Norman Lydell. Cost is $10 per person. For reservations, call 665-4536 up to the cutoff date of Dec. 4.
Tureen Dinner And Meeting Is Nov. 27
Jamestown Area Senior Center members will meet for a tureen dinner and meeting on Nov. 27. Persons attending should take their table service. The Christmas party will be held on Dec. 12 in the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club. The cost is $10 per person, and reservations are currently being accepted. Bernice Cockshott was welcomed to a recent meeting attended by 33 seniors. Shirley Vandenburg, activities director, opened the meeting with a flag salute and song and spoke on payment due for the Dec. 5 trip to the Christmas show in Cambridge Springs and the Christmas party. Renewal memberships are due in January. Guest speakers were Tina Jones and Bill Tucker, both of the Red Cross. Refreshments were served. New members are welcome.
