Myers Library Board To Meet Tuesday
FREWSBURG - The Myers Memorial Library board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the library's community room. The public is welcome to attend.
Harmony Historical Society To Meet
BLOCKVILLE - The Harmony Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday for a Thanksgiving dinner meeting. Anyone attending should bring a dish to pass, a donation for a local food pantry and their own table service. Coffee and a cold beverage will be provided. The previous dinner meeting was held on Oct. 16. The Harmony Quilters were honored at the meeting. The Harmony Historical Society is located on Open Meadows Road, Blockville.
RSVPs Due For Manor Oak Party
Former Manor Oak employees are planning their Christmas Party. It will be held at McCarty's restaurant in Falconer at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4. Reservations need to be made by Nov. 27 by calling Rosie Digirolamo at 665-5360 or Ann Damon at 782-3960. Dinner choices are as follows: prime rib, stuffed pork chop, shrimp scampi or chicken parmesan.
Gerry Fire Dept. Auxiliary To Meet
GERRY - The Gerry Volunteer Fire Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Gerry Rodeo dining hall. Discussion will be on Santa's Craft Bonanza decorations, final work schedules and the Christmas party. A program will be presented on local wines. Refreshments will be served. All members are encouraged to attend.
Kiantone Planners To Meet Today
The Kiantone Planning Board will hold its regularly scheduled at 7 p.m. today in the Kiantone Community Building, 1521 Peck Settlement Road, Jamestown. The meeting was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 21.
Carroll Historical Society Sets Meeting
The Carroll Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. today for the final meeting of 2012. Members may bring a snack to share for a holiday celebration. Members may also bring an item of interest they wish to share with the group. Election of two trustees will be held that evening. Nonmembers are welcome to attend, or to contact the Carroll historian to arrange to visit our meeting rooms for information and genealogy research.
N. Harmony Bridge Reopened
NORTH HARMONY - Chautauqua County Bridge No. 848 on Carpenter-Pringle Road in the town of North Harmony has been reopened.
