ROCHESTER - Orchard Park defeated Christian Brothers Academy 26-14 Saturday afternoon in the Class AA state football semifinal game.
The Quakers (12-0), who defeated Jamestown last week, advance to the state final, scheduled for next Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Carrier Dome.
In other high school action Saturday, Alden lost in the Class B semifinal to Maine-Endwell of Section 4 by a score of 49-14.
Also representing Section 6 will be Randolph in Class D and Sweet Home in Class A. Randolph (10-2) plays at noon Friday against Tuckahoe of Section 1. That will be immediately followed by Sweet Home (12-0) taking on Section 3's Burnt Hills (11-1) at 3 p.m.
