CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
BROCTON - Alex N. Tylwalk, 19, of 54 E. Main St., Brocton was charged at 2 p.m. on Thursday with two counts of petit larceny, and two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. After investigating numerous larcenies from vehicles in the Brocton area, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office took Tylwalk into custody and issued him appearance tickets for Village of Brocton Court at a later date. The investigation is continuing.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Dennis M. Plummer, 42, of Jamestown was charged at 11:05 p.m. on Thursday with second-degree criminal trespass. Jamestown Police responded to an East Second Street address to investigate a past-tense domestic dispute. After further investigation, it was found that Plummer entered the victim's residence without permission and remained inside after being told to leave numerous times. Officers were able to locate him, took him into custody without incident and transported him to the Jamestown City Jail. He was charged and is currently awaiting arraignment by the city of Jamestown Court.
ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
Kayla S. Thomas, 23, of 264 S. Main St., upper apartment, Jamestown was charged at 2 a.m. on Friday with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI. Officers received a report of a possible intoxicated driver going through McDonald's drive-thru on North Main Street Extension in the town of Ellicott. Thomas was observed to be creating a loud disturbance for those around her by holding down the horn of her vehicle for no legitimate purpose. A vehicle stop was conducted and Thomas was found to be intoxicated. Appearance tickets were issued for a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Sheila A. Graves, 39, of 115 Water St., Frewsburg, was charged with two counts of petit larceny and two counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Police say Graves possessed stolen property from Wal-Mart on Oct. 8 and Oct. 12, then returned the stolen items in exchange for gift cards. She was arraigned in Town of Busti Court and sent to Chautauqua County Jail pending bail. She is due back in court Dec. 19.
WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
WESTFIELD - A 17-year old male of Westfield was charged at 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Westfield police, after a recent investigation, took a 17-year-old male into custody after he allegedly entered a building and was later found to be in possession of stolen property. He was arraigned in Westfield Village Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on bail of $500 cash and $1,500 property. The youth will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
