Holiday Dinner Set For Tonight

Benefit Set
For Saturday
FREWSBURG - A benefit for Marcia Johnson will begin at noon on Saturday in Andersons Tavern, Main Street, Frewsburg. Featured will be food and a Chinese auction. Music will be provided by DJEclips with Day Old Soup and the Geezers. Proceeds will help defray expenses of a bone marrow transplant.
Driving Course Set For Saturday
LAKEWOOD - A five-hour pre-licensing as well as a defensive driving seminar is scheduled for Saturday at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 35 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood. Session times are 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Seminars are presented by Aadvance Driver Training staff. There is limited seating per DMV guidelines; with seating availability on a first-come, first-served basis. The seminar fee is $25 when pre-registering online at DriverTrainingLLC.com or by calling 777-3232.
Harvest Supper Set For Tonight
Kennedy Grange 496 met recently at the Clarks Corners Community Church. Members set a date for the Harvest Supper which will be tonight at 7 p.m. at the church. Brenda Gustafson is in charge of the arrangements. Community service projects completed include back packs for the school children, a lap robe for a child in the hospital, and pennies for Pomona. Also last month, about 20 members and friends attended an Amish dinner which was held to raise money for their schools. Eunice Speta reported her scrapbook for community service has been sent to the state to be judged.
Ladies Night Out Set For Saturday
FALCONER - Ladies Night Out will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at Levant Wesleyan Church. Bring a dish to share and watch the movie "October Baby." All ladies welcome at no charge. Monthly Breakfast Set For Sunday
CELORON - The breakfast committee from the Herman Kent American Legion Post 777 in Celoron, is holding its monthly breakfast at the post Sunday. We will have our full buffet with eggs, home fries, sausage, ham, French toast, Sausage gravy and Danish or our 777 3-egg omelet for only $6/adult, $3/kids 10 and under, and the hours are 8:30-11:30 a.m.

Indoor Market Opens Saturday
Community Helping Hands will hold its second annual Community Indoor Emporium, an indoor flea and craft market, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The group is seeking vendors at $25 per table or two for $40. For more information or to obtain a registration form, call 487-1488.
