LITTLE VALLEY - Lori Petit Rieman, Cattaraugus County district attorney, reported the following activity in Cattaraugus County Court on Monday, Oct. 22:

Gregory J. Young, 32, of Tonawanda, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to driving while intoxicated, a class E felony, to satisfy a pending indictment. The incident occurred on or about May 17, in the town of Redhouse, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle on a public roadway at a time when he had a blood alcohol contend of .11 percent. Sentencing is schedule for Jan. 22.

Darren J. Johnson, 41, of Steamburg entered a plea of guilty to driving while intoxicated, a class E felony and aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree, an unclassified misdemeanour, to satisfy a pending indictment. The incident occurred on or about Dec. 12, 2011, in the town of Carrollton, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle on a public roadway while he was in an intoxicated condition. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 22.

James J. Wujastyk, 59, of Salamanca entered a plea of guilty to driving while intoxicated, a class D felony, to satisfy a pending indictment. The incident occurred on or about Dec. 11, 2011, in the town of Salamanca, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle on a public roadway at a time when he had a blood alcohol content of .16 percent. Sentencing is schedule for Jan. 22.

Tierzah J. Lyon, 29, of Farmersville, N.Y., entered a plea of guilty to an indictment that charges her with driving while intoxicated, a class A misdemeanor. The incident occurred on or about March 29, in the town of Freedom, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle on a public roadway in an intoxicated condition. Sentencing is schedule for Jan. 22.

Kim W. Rohwer, 56, of Little Valley was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty to an indictment that charges him with one count of aggravated driving while intoxicated, a class E felony; one count of driving while intoxicated, a class E felony; one count of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a class E felony and one count of circumventing ignition interlock system and operating motor vehicle with device, class A misdemeanor. The incident occurred on or about April 19, in the town of Little Valley, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle on a public highway at time when he had a blood alcohol content of .41 percent and when he knew or had reason to know that his license or privilege for operating a motor vehicle in New York was suspended or revoked because of an alcohol-related offense. The matter has been adjourned for motions.

Gavin J. Howard, 26, of Great Valley was arraigned and entered a plea of not guilty to an indictment that charges him with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a class E felony. The incident occurred on or about July 24, in the village of Ellicottville, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle on a public highway at a time when he had a blood alcohol content of .18 percent. The matter has been adjourned for motions.

Emery C. Pierce, 58, of Falconer entered a plea of guilty to an indictment that charges him with driving while intoxicated, a class E felony. The incident occurred on or about Nov. 1, 2011, in the city of Salamanca, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle on a public roadway with a blood alcohol content of .14 percent. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 22.

Ronald R. Hultin, 47, of Jamestown entered a plea of guilty to an indictment that charges him with driving while intoxicated, a class E felony to satisfy a pending indictment. The incident occurred on or about April 14, in the town of Coldspring, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle on a public roadway with a blood alcohol content of .17 percent. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 22.

Shauna E. Lewis, 27, of Salamanca entered a plea of guilty to an indictment that charges her with driving while intoxicated, a class E felony and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the second degree, an unclassified misdemeanor, to satisfy a pending indictment. The incident occurred on or about Nov. 6, in the city of Salamanca, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle on a public roadway with a blood alcohol content of .16 percent and operated a motor vehicle when she knew or had reason to know that her privilege to operate a motor vehicle in New York was suspended or revoked. Sentencing is schedule for Jan. 22.

Ronald H. Perkins, 48, of West Valley entered a plea of guilty to an indictment that charges him with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a class E felony, to satisfy a pending indictment. The incident occurred on or about Dec. 19, 2011, in the town of Ashford, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle on a public roadway with a blood alcohol content of .20 percent. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 22.

Dustin J. Dashnaw, 29, of Machias entered a plea of guilty to fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class C felony to satisfy Indictment No. 12-220. The incident occurred on or about May 19, in the town of Yorkshire, when the defendant knowingly and unlawfully sold a narcotic preparation. Further, Dustin J. Dashnaw entered a plea of guilty to second-degree attempted burglary, a class D felony to satisfy Indictment No. 12-221. The incident occurred on or about Feb. 8, in the town of Machias, when the defendant, knowingly attempted to enter and remain unlawfully in a dwelling to commit a crime therein. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 22 for both indictments.

Robert A Rosell, 24, of Little Valley entered a plea of guilty to an indictment that charges him with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a class E felony, to satisfy a pending indictment. The incident occurred on or about Oct. 30, 2011, in the village of Little Valley, when the defendant operated a motor vehicle on a public roadway with a blood alcohol content of .20 percent. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan. 22.
