Breast Cancer Group To Meet
The Breast Cancer Support Group of Jamestown will meet Wednesday at Friendly's. Dinner will be at 6 p.m. with the meeting at 7 p.m. The speaker for the evening is Amie Libbey, service coordinator at Lutheran. She will discuss with filling in the gaps Medicare leaves. New patients are welcome. Money raised from the group's recent pink light bulb project will support Lily's Hope and WCA Hospital with the purchase of the 3-D breast tomosynthesis equipment.
Falconer To?Light Tree Dec. 6
FALCONER - The Eye to the Future of Falconer Committee met recently to plan the second annual Memory Tree Memorial Ceremony set for Dec. 6 at the village community building. Tree tags can be obtained from the following locations: Falconer Printing, Falconer Vac Shoppe, Falconer Village Office, Falconer Veterinary, Ribbings, Curves, and at Holiday Expo in memory or honor of someone special. The tags will be on the tree for the month of December. The committee's next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday.

Land Bank Corp. To Meet Wednesday
The Chautauqua County Department of Planning and Economic Development will hold an official meeting of the Chautauqua County Land Bank Corporation at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency board room, 200 Harrison St., Jamestown. The land bank organizational meeting is being conducted to discuss official business associated with the land bank's by-laws, certificate of incorporation, acquisition and disposition policies, election of officers and committee members, and other official business as required. Fire Commission Cancels Meeting
SALAMANCA - Ronald Ball, Salamanca Fire Commission chairman, has announced that the regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled due to lack of business. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. in the conference room of the city municipal building.
