June A. Nord, 90, formerly of Jamestown, passed away Thursday (Nov. 8, 2012) in the Golden Living of Kinzua Valley Nursing Home, Warren, Pa.
She was born Oct. 12, 1922, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Clarence and Grace Carr Nord.
June was a graduate of Celoron High School and was employed by the Christian Scientist Church in Florida as a visiting nurse.

She was a member of the First Christian Scientist Church in Jamestown and enjoyed writing, playing the organ, gardening, knitting and sewing, traveling and animals.
Surviving are her son, David L. (Debbie) Yoakum of Falconer; Diana (Donald) Saxton of Ripley; two grandchildren: Philip Clark and Franklin Saxton and; two great-grandchildren: Riley and Emily.
Visitation will not be observed. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
