DUNKIRK - A Dunkirk man was injured when he was hit by a tractor-trailer Thursday afternoon on South Roberts Road in the city.
The man was riding his bicycle on the east side of South Roberts Road traveling north. A tractor-trailer driven by a Gerry man was traveling the same direction as the bicyclist. The driver then looked in his rearview mirror while passing the bicyclist and observed him ride into the rear-most tire of the vehicle.
The bicyclist was ejected and told police he does not remember what happened. He was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital by Alstar. The extent of his injuries are unknown. No charges have been filed.
