LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE
BUSTI - James F. Chase, 24, of Panama was charged with being a fugitive from justice at 1:02 a.m. Tuesday. According to police, officers stopped a vehicle in which Chase was the passenger. A national warrant check revealed that he was wanted out of Warren County in Pennsylvania for a violation of probation. He was taken into custody, arraigned and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail until he an extradition hearing.
Sherry L. Gulczynski, 55, of 7923 Sherman Stedman Road, Sherman, was charged at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday with second-degree aggravated harassment. Ms. Gulczynski was arrested on a warrant in Findley Lake following a complaint filed by a town of Busti resident that she had made numerous phone calls to him, threatening and annoying, over the past two months after being advised not to have contact with him. Gulczynski was issued an appearance ticket and is due to appear in the Town of Busti Court on Nov. 13 to answer the charge.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
CARROLL - Alison Newton, 19, of Frewsburg was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment at 10 a.m. Tuesday. She was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.
GERRY - Elijah R. Wrazen, 18, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 7 p.m. Tuesday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.
GERRY - Joshua D. Vanord, 18, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 7 p.m. Tuesday. He was issued an appearance ticket for the charge.
CHERRY CREEK - Darcey L. Marquart, 49, of Cherry Creek was charged with second-degree harassment at 5 p.m. on Oct. 1. She was later released on her own recognizance.
PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE
TRIUMPH - Nicholas Shampoe, 31, of Clymer was charged with simple assault and harassment Sunday. State Police out of Warren, Pa., say Shampoe was involved in a domestic disturbance which became physical. He was arraigned in Marienville, Pa. and taken to Warren County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bond.
