Senior Report To Host Krista Taylor

Senior Report with Reed Powers will have Krista Taylor as the guest on Saturday's program. Taylor is artistic director and choreographer for Danza Performing Arts Academy. The live, call-in program airs from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday morning. Individuals may call 753-5225 during that time with questions or comments. The program is rebroadcast each day at 2 and 8 p.m. for some communities. Reed Powers, host of Senior Report, has been producing the television program since 1995. The series highlights senior citizen club news for 15 minutes with the remainder of the hour-long program devoted to the featured guest. The guest is subject to change. Senior Report is shown live on Saturday mornings on Time Warner cable systems covering the following communities: Brocton, Cassadaga, Chautauqua, Fredonia, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Ripley, Sherman, Stockton and Westfield on Channel 5. In Dunkirk, Forestville, Hanover, Irving and Silver Creek the program is on channel 19. The show originates at the Access Channel 5 studio in Mayville.

Railroad Tour Set For Saturday

The Independent Railroaders Model Railroad Layout tour and open house will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday in Warren and Jamestown will be open in cooperation with local hobby shops and Independent Railroaders, Craft World and Action Hobbies in Jamestown and Dreamboat Hobbies in Warren. Panama Leaf Pick-Up Is Today

PANAMA - The village of Panama leaf pick-up will begin today. Please have all leaves raked into piles near the road for easy pick-up.

Historical Society To Meet Tonight

BUSTI - The November business meeting of the Busti Historical Society will be at 7 p.m. tonight in the basement of the Busti Museum. This will be the election meeting. Final reports on the Busti Apple Festival will be given. Work sessions for the mill, the miller house and 2013 Apple Festival preparation will also be set. Other society project and plans will be discussed including the Paul Busti Memorial, annual Christmas dinner meeting and a possible grand reunion celebration in the spring when the mill machinery restoration is completed.

Holiday Party Set For Nov. 15

SINCLAIRVILLE - Children, ages 7 through 12, are invited to attend a Thanksgiving party from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15 in the Sinclairville Free Library. Featured will be an evening of stories, games, a craft and special treat. Call the library at 962-5885 to register in advance for this free program.

Outdoor Club To Hike On Sunday

On Sunday, the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike the Tanbark Trail from Sandstone Springs to Route 62 then return via the Slater Run Trail. Participants will meet at Musante Street in Warren at 1 p.m. For more information, call Greg Burkett at (814) 723-4989.
