An Ohio man was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or higher and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle Saturday after Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies saw a car hit a deer on Panama-Bear Lake Road near the New York-Pennsylvania state line.
Officers followed the vehicle into a driveway to make sure there were no injuries. After it was apparent there were no injuries, it was found Hagey had been drinking in the vehicle. Hagey will be in Harmony Town Court later.
