JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Michael Foster, 32, of Jamestown was charged Friday with third-degree criminal mischief, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Police responded to 203 E. Third St. for a report that a mirror had been broken off a nearby vehicle. Upon arrival, Foster was seen running away. After a short foot pursuit, Foster was taken into custody and was taken to the city jail until he could be arraigned.
Louis Garcia of Jamestown was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief Saturday after officers responded to 304 W. Eight St. for a man who was out of control. Upon arrival, officers saw a kicked-in front door, a kicked-in bathroom door and a broken window. Garcia was found in an upstairs bedroom and charged.
Sharon Griffith, 22, of Jamestown was charged Oct. 30 with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Officers responded to the WCA Hospital emergency room for an assault report around 4 a.m. An investigation determined a domestic incident occurred at 89 Hazzard St. According to police, a verbal argument occurred between the victim and Griffith over who would watch their child. While holding the child, Griffith pushed the other person off-balance, resulting in a broken window. Griffith was taken to the city jail until she could be arraigned.
Dustin J. Saunders, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree burglary and fourth-degree criminal mischief at 1:06 a.m. Sunday. According to police, officers were dispatched to 21 Dearing Ave. for a report that an unwanted man was pounding on the homeowner's door. Upon arrival, officers found the rear door to the home kicked in and saw a man who fit the description of the unwanted person standing inside of the home. The officers entered and charged Saunders. He was taken to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.

ELLICOTT - Ralph W. Wallace, 18, of Jamestown, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 1:10 p.m. Sunday. He will be in court later.
HANOVER - Joseph M. Grant, 29, of Fredonia, was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment at 3:14 p.m. Sunday. He will be in court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
Alexa White, 21, of Dunkirk was charged Saturday with failure to maintain lane, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or more. She will be in Hanover Town Court later.
