Cherry Creek UMC Cookie Walk Is Dec. 1

CHERRY CREEK - The second annual Christmas Craft Fair and Cookie Walk will be held in the Cherry Creek-Leon United Methodist Church on Saturday, Dec. 1, between the 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., according to Bruce A. Fish, pastor.

Craft vendors may reserve table space by calling Fish at 640-6907. The cost per table is $10, and space will not be reserved until the fee is received.

"We had a great turnout last year," Fish said. "The main room and the back room were both full of crafters and the kitchen space was used for the cookie walk, which was very successful. The day was profitable for our crafters, and we had over 100 dozen cookies, which just about sold out. We're looking forward to another great day."

The events at the church are a portion of other events being scheduled as part of the "Christmas in Cherry Creek" weekend, which will include special events at the Trillium Lodge, Rustic Creations and the Memorial Tree decorating in Memorial Park.
