SQUIRT MOHL

Cooper Spielman and Will Turner each had a hat trick as the Jamestown Lakers rallied from an early 3-0 deficit to beat the Cazenovia Chiefs, 10-8, on Sunday at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena.

Cazenovia led 5-3 after the first period before the Lakers netted five second-period goals to take the lead, 8-7, going into the third period.

Declan Brown scored twice while Devon Wolfe and Trenton Shutters added single goals for the Lakers. Spielman, Evan Bishop and Elias Akl each had an assist in the win.

Skip Faltisco scored six goals and Colin Maaghul scored twice while Zachary Bouguard had a pair of assists in the loss.

SQUIRT

The Jamestown Lakers completed their winning weekend with a 9-0 victoryagainst the Niagara County Coyotes at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena on Sunday.

Joshua Brown and Ryan Schrecengost led the way with two goals a piece. Tyler Sillanpaa, Lucian Talbett, Brendan Hirliman, Evan Christensen and Jadon Barron added one goal a piece. Leading in assists were Declan Brown, Barron and Christensen with two a piece while Hirliman, Joshua Spontaneo, Sillanpaa, Luke Tota and Thomas Lucks were each credited with one assist.

Jack Yost was in goal for the shutout.
