LITTLE VALLEY - The Cattaraugus County Board of Elections will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday for those who need to apply for an absentee ballot.
Any voter who will be absent from the county due to occupation, education, vacation or who has a permanent physical disability or illness that won't allow them to go to the polls on Election Day, is eligible to receive an absentee ballot. The last day to apply for an absentee ballot in person, as long as the person is a previously registered voter, is Monday.
Regular office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
