Porcelain Artists
To Meet Saturday
Carol White, president, will conduct a meeting of the Chautauqua County Porcelain Artists at 10 a.m. Saturday in Christ First United Methodist Church. Elaine Caflisch will conduct a second lesson on painting panda bears. Vickie George will teach a seminar on painting a scene on Saturday, Nov. 10. Members attending should take brushes, two containers and a flat piece of China. She will provide paints and medium.
Antique Study Club To Hold Meeting
The Women's Antique Study Club will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Lakewood Community Building. Members should take an item for a show and tell program. The meeting will be hosted by Virginia Guinnane. Committee members are Jackie Anderson, Elaine Larson, Martha Crandall and Dolores Mitcham. New members are welcome. AARP Announces Upcoming Meetings
The Jamestown AARP general meeting will be on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at First Lutheran Church, beginning at 1:30 p.m. There will be nomination of officers for 2013, tickets available for the Christmas buffet and program by JHS Madrigal Singers, a program, a book exchange, and refreshments. The board meeting is on Thursday, Nov. 8, at the same location, beginning at 10 a.m.
