J. Andrew Berdine, 69, of 1775 Stillwater Road, Sugar Grove, Pa., passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie, Pa.
Andy was born in Erie, on Nov. 17, 1942, a son of the late Bessie (Troutman) and Julius Berdine.
He was retired from his employment at Cummins Engine Co. in Jamestown, N.Y., and also was previously employed at the Sugar Grove Farm Supply.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Berdine on Oct. 5, 2009.
Surviving are a daughter, Thomasina McIntyre of Dryden, N.Y.; three sons: Joshua Berdine, Ph.D. of Cambridge, England, Matthew Berdine of Denver, Colo., and Daniel Berdine, Ph.D., of Arlington, Va.; a sister, Judy Nece; a brother, Tom Berdine; four grandchildren: Leah, Luke, Andrew and Ryder; and several nieces and nephews.
