Ellery Senior Citizens will meet for a Thanksgiving dinner at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 9 in St. Timothy's Lutheran Church. John and Betty Lou Cheney and Paul Samuelson will be the committee. Joanie Denn will speak on wellness.
Twenty-seven members met recently. Helen Ingerson, Jan Anderson, Jean Brooker and Ola Olson were the committee. Gene Norris gave table grace and devotions. Peter Carlo led the flag salute. Entertainment was provided by the Gem Tones of Tanglewood Manor.
Birthdays were celebrated by Jan Anderson, Rita Garretson, Jean Brooker, John Cheney and Bernice Swanson. Peter and Mary Ann Carlo celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.
Avis West was introduced as a new member.
