More marijuana was taken off the streets of Jamestown on Friday afternoon after the Jamestown Police Department took a 33-year-old Jamestown man into custody.
Zachiel L. Fields was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana at 12:10 p.m. after JPD investigators, the Department of Homeland Security and the New York State Police Criminal Narcotics Enforcement Team raided home at 615 N. Main St. Fields was found to be in possession of 8 pounds of marijuana and a large quantity of cash.
"Street value for that is about $1,500 per pound," said Capt. Robert Samuelson of the JPD.

Fields was taken to Jamestown City Jail and is currently awaiting arraignment.
