FREWSBURG - Led by Janessa Annis, Frewsburg (13-4-1) made easy work of Cattaraugus-Little Valley in their Section 6 Class C quarterfinal girls soccer game on Thursday.
Annis recorded her first hat trick of the season, scoring goals at the eighth, 32nd and 51st minutes to lead the No. 6 Bears to a 5-0 victory and into the semifinals against second-seeded Holland (15-2) on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Pioneer.
Maddie Whippo, who also scored a goal late in the first half from Annie Berg, assisted on Annis' first score, Mackenzie Swartzman assisted on the second and Hunter Corrigan on the third.
