Rose Mary Kennedy Uber, 52, of 311 Jefferson St., Jamestown, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, in Buffalo General Hospital, after a brief illness.
She was born Oct. 10, 1960, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Francis and Marilyn Burch Kennedy Sr.
Rose participated in Special Olympics, and enjoyed walking and spending time with her family.

Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Uber of Titusville, Pa.; a brother, Francis (Elaine) Kennedy Jr. of Jamestown; a sister, Robin (Shane) Southwick of Jamestown; eight nieces and nephews: Michael Kennedy, Melissa Sheldon, Steven Kennedy, Stephanie O'Hara, Dennis, Derek, Daniel and Kristen Harmon; and her companion, Roberto.
Besides her parents, who both died in 1995, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paul T. Kennedy, who died April 20, 2010.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Adam Rohler will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
