Teachers Awarded Sam’s Club Cards

October 24, 2012
The Post-Journal

Recently, Sam's Club awarded 20 Panama Elementary school teachers with $50 reward cards to purchase classroom supplies that will help students during the school year. As part of the Teacher Rewards Program, the local educators were honored during an award ceremony at Panama Central School. In its fourth year, Teacher Rewards will donate up to $4.5 million to provide 90,000 teachers across the United States with reward cards that will help offset the cost of classroom expenses. These funds come at a critical time, as the majority of U.S. teachers going back to school will spend their own money to ensure their students have the supplies they need to learn throughout the school year.
