JoAnne Clare (Guarnieri) Doyle, born April 18, 1927, in Jamestown, N.Y., passed away Sept. 1, 2012, at her mountain home in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
JoAnne is predeceased in death by her husband, Richard, and by her parents John and Salvatrice (Pilato) Guarnieri, her sisters Palma, Beatrice and Mary, and her brothers John, Philip and Joseph.
She is lovingly remembered by her surviving sister, Juliet DeHosson of Ponte Verda Beach, Fla., daughters: Nadine Doyle-Mason (Scott Ma-son) of Pleasanton, Calif., Diana Jonmarie (Jeffrey Hayes) of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and grandchildren Andi J. Sowers (Bryan), Nathan Higley, Mathew, John, Luke and Rose Doyle-Mason and a great-grandchild, Katrina Sowers.
After graduating from nursing school, JoAnne began her career as a registered nurse in the San Francisco Bay area. JoAnne served in several capacities in the field of health care nurse, medical auditor and medical transcriptions. While building her person-al business, JoAnne continued her college education, graduating from St. Mary's College with a bac-calaureate degree in health administration.
JoAnne and Richard were happily married for 55 years and are buried in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
