GERRY - Dusty Carlson tossed five touchdown passes and Justin Miller and Charlie Bonta each recorded a pair of sacks to lead Fresh Cut Meats/Covey Tree to a 38-7 victory over Witch-Kitch in the championship game of the Southern Tier Flag Football League on Sunday.
Carlson threw TD passes to Eric Clark, Wilson Sanchez, Elliott DeLeon, Richard Allen and Bart Napier, while Bill Lawson also connected with Clark for a another score. Clark also grabbed two point-after conversions for the winners (7-0).
Chris Morano and Ricky Gonzalez chipped in defensively with a sack and an interception respectively.
Tom Secky accounted for Witch-Kitch's lone touchdown when he connected with Charlie Latta on a scoring strike.
Witch-Kitch closed the season 6-1.
