Richard Kenneth Swanson, 72, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed on from this life on Oct. 18, 2012, in St Augustine, Fla., at his daughter's home.
He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, and retired from the St. Augustine Airport Authority. He was an accomplished photographer and loved nature.
He was the son of Mr. Kenneth and Ora Swanson, both deceased.
A Memorial Service will be held on Oct. 24, 2012, at Craig Funeral Home, 1475 Old Dixie Highway, St. Augustine, FL 32084, at 10 a.m.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Peg and his second wife, Beverly. He is survived by a brother, Phillip Swanson, South Carolina; daughters: Denise Smith, Alaska, Patricia Seizys, Alaska, Joanne Lopez, Florida, and Rebecca Stevens, Florida. He had 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
Services will be held in Jamestown, N.Y., in the spring.
